For the last several months, we have concentrated on the Judgment Seat of Christ (the Bema Seat as it is often called) and learned what it is, what happens there and what some of the rewards are that will be handed out. The next event that occurs in heaven is the gathering of the “bride” to attend the Marriage Ceremony itself (Rev 19:7-8).

Al Qaida is making the most of the situation in Libya, according to reports by an Algerian security official. Weapons from Libya have been smuggled toward Al Qaida destinations in western Africa, and governments in the region are concerned that Al Qaida’s forces could step into the void left if Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi is forced to step down.

The Greek translators called it άριθμό Arithmoi, and in Latin it was Numeri, because the translators focused on the two census takings at the beginning and the end of the wanderings. But it’s basically “the wilderness wanderings.”

Last month, we began to explore what exactly happens after the Rapture. The first event to occur is the Tribulation here on the earth and, at the same time, the Bema Seat Judgment in heaven.

Psalm 83 describes a continuing conflict between Israel and its neighbors which climaxes with a final victory for Israel over its adversaries. It is a prayer in which Israel pleads for deliverance from a group of nations that are in union for the singular purpose of destroying her.

An elderly couple passed away in their twilight years, and when they got to heaven the husband was simply astonished! He discovered that it was far more magnificent than he could possibly have imagined. It was fantastic! He turned to his wife and observed: “You know, if it hadn’t been for your yogurt and bran muffins, we could have been here ten years ago!”

Our season of holidays has passed and we look once again to the opportunities that await us in a new year. While it some-times feels as if we are careening toward a cliff to plunge head-long into the abyss of prophetic fulfillment of strategic trends, we have actually plodded along for decades. Why do we suddenly feel the intensity? Because we have, or are, awakening out of our normalcy bias.

Over the last twenty years there has been a movement in schools that has changed the way many children are educated—charter schools. Charter schools are public schools, Kindergarten through 12th grade, that receive public money, but are not subject to the same rules that apply to other public schools. In return, charter schools are accountable to achieve certain goals that are outlined in the school charter.

One of the questions that The Kingdom, Power and Glory hopes to answer is not only, “why are we here?,” but also “where are we going” and “what do we have to do to get there?”

Obviously, most of the Bible deals with history—both past and future—through the “lens” of Israel. But there are three short books that focus on Gentile history, and each has specific application to you and me today.

Also, this war is not well covered by the media, because there are no visuals. (You can only take so many pictures of computer screens.)
